I dove into type design, creating a custom font inspired by Japanese Omikuji. Each character reflects the delicate elegance of these sacred fortune slips, blending tradition with modern design.

The fortune slips are folded and tied in designated places around Japanese temples. The alternation between hard straight shapes combined with the soft round shapes of the lots have been the main inspiration for this typeface.
